Hi we have bypassed our roof water system and need to dispose of the old metal tank and its cradle.
Can anyone advise how?where we get rid of them?

You could ask KAR if they could use it up at the centre.

Put it outside and it will soon disappear especially if you are on a road that is frequently in use.

If we put anything metal outside our place we can guarantee the chap that drives around on an almost daily basis will take it. Alternatively, a phone call to KAR to see if the Center wants it (that is if they can get it there of course)

ring the Scrap man 0533 889 6001 he does not speak English so get a local to call him, he very good

I'm afraid there is no where to leave it in the hope someone will pick it up.
From where we live its more hassle than its worth for KAR to collect.
