We took in a stray dog who is pure white and has long hair in places.
Since we took him in he has started molting and now everything is covered in white dog hair.
Is there a product or brush to solve this problem?
I seem to remember a brush we had in UK which removed dog hair from clothing.

There is such a brush you move it one way to collect the hair etc then brush it the other way to remove the hair from it. You may get one in Mr Pound or China Bazaar.

I read a tip recently for getting dog hair off car seats which involved a water spray bottle and a rubber squeegee of the type used for windows. Just tried on my sofa and worked reasonably well! Mr Pound sells the lint rollers which work well on clothes but probably impractical for furnishings.

Rubber gloves work too.

To clean up the last few hairs, wrap sellotape around your hand, sticky side out.

Think outside the box - shave the dog!

Our dog is a short haired terrier and her hair seems to weave its self into the car seat cover and our clothes. The only sure way I have found over the years to remove them is to use strips of cheap 'gaffa' tape. Press it firmly down and slowly pull it off. 90% of the dog hairs pull out of the cloth. Works well on wool and knitted items'
