There looks to be a big fire with a lot of black smoke we cannot quite see where it is but it looks like the Karakum side of Ozankoy.
Anyone have any information?

Wow! I heard and read about it, but to actually see the flames and smoke really brings it home how bad it really was.
When you made the comment "that's someone's home" I believe it was a family with 3 children, including a young baby who are now homeless.
Very sad to think they have lost everything.
It amazes me that the police didn't cordon of the area. Instead, people are allowed to get too near. With chemicals etc stored there, it is lucky that people weren't hurt.

strange life. I saw the smoke on my way to a wedding and everyone was asking what and wherre it was. I could not say, but it is a strange life that while some people are facing tragedy, nearby others are celebrating a mgic momnt and looking to the future witth joy.
Hope that the homeless occuple are helped and that all is as well as can be.

I know I shouldnt get that close but its part of the risk of getting good close up shots !! I did the same at the forest fire the week before near Ezic premier.
It also brings home the enormous destruction and dangers of fires and how quickly they spread and get completely out of control.......

I think you need to invest in a new keyboard for your computer.
Your words are all coming out a bit dyslexic.
I speak as someone who has been dyslexic snith brith.

Philoz, you are absolutely correct, except I have had a new keyboard and a plug in keyboard (which I left in Oz) but when this thing gets hot it mucks me about something alarming - or the spelling becomes alarming etc. At the moment it is reasonably happy as it has been left to chill off for a while. talk about technology having a mind of its own. It takes so long to correct it when it misbehaves.
what annoys me is that I moaned about this from day one and was told it owuld have to go to Lefkosia to the Toshiba people for them to inspect it to see if anything was wrong. When I asked what I did for a computer in the mean time, the answer was a shrug of the shoulders.
So I have battled on with its idiosyncratic ways - and well, now everyone can see it was possibly an expensive rogue machine.
So what do I do, other than hope nice people will bear with me when i don't have time to correct all the mistakes. Really sorry, and I repeat - you are absolutely correct.

Marions I presume a laptop if your if your cursor pops up in the wrong line so you type in the middle of a word you have already done
I have had the same problem go into mouse settings and slow the mouse responses or disable the "pad" and fit an external mouse

Key boards seem to wear out quick here-I don't think the dust helps.
It's very frustrating when you are trying to type.
Good news is that replacement keyboards for laptops are cheap-I need to replace a net-book keyboard(space key developed a mind of it's own)and was amazed to find one for £10.
I will pick it up when I return to UK in December.
If you need a new keyboard for yours PM me with model number etc.- I can fit it for you,but you will have to wait a bit.

OK, but if you are in MS Outlook, this is an Outlook glitsch that MS have yet to acknowledge.

OK, seems like we have gone off topic with this one, shall we set up a new thread on "New Keyborads"? .....Nah, let's just close this thread down, I think the fire is out now.
