Car Road Tax

Has any one got an update on this, ie is it going to finish on the 1st of May.

There was an article in last Saturday's Cyprus Today and it says "Drivers should continue to pay their road tax until new laws are enacted"

But is it better to pay for a full year's tax, or just buy 6 months worth in case the law does change?
