Hi, Anyone one know where we can purchase an electric radiator which can be fixed to the bedroom wall. After this cold and damp winter we want something just to take the edge of it, our wood burner heats the living area nicely but doesn't really do much for the bedroom.
Thanks for any replies.

Hi,
I bought 2 this winter from Tunc ltd (Housewares) which is West of Girne just opposite Tempo.

They had various sizes ranging from 1,000W up to 2,000W I went for 2 @1500W & 1 @ 1250W. They worked fine.
The cost of the 1500W was 680tl & the 1250W was 650tl.

so, 1500 Watt for 10 hrs a night... = 15 kWh a day x 30 days x 4 month= (additional) 1800 kWh for the "season"...
plus air cons for the summer and all that?

maybe you want-need a solar PV system?

goto "renewables"...

Do you not have air con in the bedroom ? we use the heat setting on ours for a hour before bed to take off the chill.

Many Thanks for the responses we will probably visit Housewares as my wife would like several of the same type of units for the bedrooms, our bedroom air con units are quite small and provide only a very limited amount of heat.

Thanks again.

then your air cons may need new gassing. a 9000 btu with approx 1 kW intake gives as much as an approx 2- 2,5 kW electric wall panel.

if you want "several" of those heates.. you honestly should think about a solar system...
