Has anyone had a heart op of any sort performed by Dr Levent of the Kyrenia Medical Centre. I would be interested to hear what you thought of the care etc.

Not an answer to your question but as no-one else has replied yet I thought you may find this of interest! My husband had a very big heart op at the Near East last May. Five bypasses. From start to finish ( he is still seeing the cardiologist every three months) the treatment and care have been exemplary. He spent three days in ITU before the op and two days after the op, then he was moved to a service ward where I was able to stay with him for a further eight days. We have nothing but praise for everything there, the nurses , doctors and other staff were all great.

Hi, please be advised that Dr Levant is a very professional Dr, however due to the limited facilities at the KMC Heart Op's are carried out at the Near East, Dr Levant hires the facility and does the ops himself.

thank you everyone, yes I know that Dr Levent uses facilities at Near East. I need a possible bypass op but don't know much about Dr Levent's previous op history although I like his manner very much, he listens!
