Can anyone confirm that the courier service from DHL in Lefkosa actually works? They won't allow you to pick up packages there.

I have just received my new passport through DHL, it was delivered to Dagli insurance after the courier had contacted me to chech where I wanted it taken to. All went smoothly without any problems.

I picked up a package from the Lefkosa office in January....no problem at all!

I am also using Dagli Insurance for receipt of a document later this week...

So can we send things from Dagli insurance?

Is that the Dagli Insurance that is near the British High Commision in Lefcosia please?

I have previously put lots of posts on regarding D.H.L. and phone numbers etc. I find there service superb, I use them virtually weekly for business. Not cheap, but efficient and tracked.My Items are normally collected from a meeting point, I am Lapta, so very often we use Green Petrol Station.

Incoming items I normally get a phone call and just meet the driver. My last items took 5 days start to finish from Birm UK to here tracked all they way.

Try these numbers. 0548 830 0119 or 0533 867 7799. I have never had to travel to Lefkosa. to use them.

Thanks Johnny, I am in Catalkoy so Lapta/Lefcosia, you takes your pick for distance and ease of getting there I guess. Will give the numbers a ring and see if I can pick up from this side of Girne anywhere. Only want to pick up a returning passport but need to tell the passport office the address to send it to. I used Tool Hire last time but I guess they don't do it anymore?

Dagli Sigorta In Karaoglanoglu will handle letters and passport renewals but does not do parcels due to lack of space.

Thanks joan54, I can't seem to find them in Karaoglanoglu as their web sites only show two offices Lefcosia/famagusta. Any chance you could let me know where abouts they are please? Simple directions or GPS would help lots. Thanks.

waddo, the lady in the Little Furniture Shop near Crispy Squid deals with passport renewals. Not sure if it is DHL or another company. Might be worth calling in since you are in Catalkoy.

Waldo, their office is on the right hand side just past the Post Office in Karaoglanoglu when driving towards Lapta. The woman I spoke to was English so no difficulty with language.
