Money transfer to the U.K. s from here to Uk

Can any one tell me the time it takes for a large amount of money transfered from here to the Uk Bank to Bank

Last time I transferred,to my shock 1 day.

Slightly depends on whether you use a Turkish bank here or a Cypriot one. The Cypriot ones take a bit longer as the payment has to go via an intermediary bank in Turkey. From Turkish banks the transfer normally arrives in UK next day.
