Does anyone know the best place to buy Memory Foam doub;e mattresses?
(Ideally the type that come in a box for easy transportation by car).
I'm looking a shop in Famagusta or Nicosia rather than Kyrenia..

Try Yatsan, in Nicosia. They have an advert on the home page of Kibkom. Brilliant company to deal with, they deliver and install in place.

A thread on the forum indicated that memory foam 'toppers' were available from Mermaid fabrics, The Curtain shop, and Arpi (Karakum).
If you put 'memory foam' into the search box at the top of the page, you should find the thread - I can't post a link at the moment as I'm using a 'phone, and copying links is really tricky

Thanks all for the advice.
It is a mattress I'm looking for - not a toipper.
Do memory foam's al;ways come vaccuum packed in boxes?
I really want to pick one up in the car, rather than wait in for a delivery which doesn't arrive (or arrives on a different day when I'm out!)

They will deliver a.s.a.p at arms to suit you and almost immediately if they have it in stock. We have never dealt with such a helpful company over here, superb service, nothing too much trouble. Give them a call and ask.

I also recommend Yatsan. I bought a mattress with a built-in memory foam topper from from them. I chose it in the morning and they delivered it in the afternoon at the agreed time. They also took the old one away ! They also sell full memory foam mattresses.

The best service from Yatsan we went for a full Memory mattress but changed mind and bought their a CROWN design mattress with special topper. The best mattress ever (and believe me I'm very fussy). They sat us down, gave us a coffee whilst mattress was loaded and then followed us back home, plus took the old one away. We also have a memory foam 2ins but much prefer the CROWN.
BTW, please, please will people check as jofra has said. Its so easy!!!

I have what they refer to as double i.e. 5ft 3ins wide. 6ft 2ins long. 10ins deep As to price I can't remember as it was nearly 2 y ears ago but their place is easy to find, so a trip to Lefkosa is what I would advise. I just remember that we were absolutely staggered as to how little we paid in relation to top quality mattresses in UK. They tell you to turn every 6 weeks, which we haven't adhere to (its flaming heavy and we do it about one every 3 months but you would think we bought it yesterday.

I have had a Yatsan Crown mattress for many years and it is still as good as new. It is a Turkish king (160 x 200) and we paid approx 550 Euros from Olgun. Have a look at their website for more info
