i am hoping someone can give me the telephone number of the firm who offers to obtain the gas tank permit

Did it myself a few years ago. You have to buy a Fire Extinguisher (appropraiate for a gas fire....supplier Pekur in Lefkosia - although they may now have opened a depot in Girne). Took the purchase receipt for the extinguisher along to the Ministry of the Interior in Girne (near the main Hospital) . Office on 1st floor on left (they had a file on us from data provided by the gas storage tank installer). Paid the inevitable fee and hey presto License issued. NOTE. LICENSE HAS TO BE RENEWED EACH YEAR.
