Hi

Looking to get the aircon in our Nissan sunny regassed. Any ideas where in the Karakum area? Also any car parts shops? Need a new cabin filter.

The garage behind Erdiner supermarket do it, cheap as well.

There is a good car parts shop in tin pan alley in town, up the street on the left from town.

Edener garage did mine excellent.

Most car aircon uses what is known as an "open" compressor, that is a drive shaft driven compressor, usually driven by an engine driven drive belt. This entails a drive-shaft passing through a seal which, if allowed to dry out will fail allowing the gas, under pressure, to escape. In order to prevent this from happening the aircon should be run for a few minutes every month, all year round.
