New ATM

Does anyone know if the new ATM, which is on the corner of the Lapta Strip and the Lambousa market road, UK sterling is obtainable?

Just stopped by and it says,euro,tl and sterling. Did not use it or see anybody else use it so I do not know if it is up and running yet.

I have tried twice and not been offered Stering either time. I might just have been unlucky though.

I tried it not long after it was built and it only offered TL even thought the logos would suggest other currencies.

I stand to be corrected but I was told that only Turkish Banks gave out sterling etc, i.e. TEB, Garanti, and the like, but not TRNC banks i.e. Credit West etc.
