I know there have been posts on this subject before but don't seem to be able to find an answer.
We will be getting to the crossing around 22:30 from Larnaca, car hire with Fontana, does anyone know what time the insurance hut closes?

Could your car hire company get the insurance before you arrive?

I checked it out in March 2017. South to North. I was told by the insurance booth agent that they close at midnight.

Always check the time difference between the North South?

Thanks for the replies, more confusion....there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer to this, 9pm or midnight and I would arrive slap bang in the middle!! Is there anyone to contact to confirm opening times?

I will be driving through metehan tomorrow and will ask at the booth if you want.

I parked up & went into the booth for a quick chat. They said they are open until midnight 7 days a week. They re-open around 7am (I said that I'd waited once until about 7.30 and he said sometimes there is a little oversleep )

Thanks for that hedge fund!! Will be able to drive through and get my insurance in plenty of time.

its midnight at the Metehan and the Pyla crossings.

At Pyla however the man/woman is likely to bugger off about 2130 but will come back if called by the police there for insurance customers. I hope this helps. This system may also be in place occasionally at Pyla.

Does anyone know if the insurance hut on the South side is open on Sundays? If so, what time does it close?
