I know there are several opticians in and around Girne - does anybody have a recommendation for one that does eyetests and supplies glasses?

We have always used Acay Optick in Girne....

They are not allowed to do eye tests though you have to go to the eye clinic or a private hospital.

Can anyone recommend a particular clinic for the eye test??

We have always used The Cyprus Eye Clinic, which if you are coming from Girne, at the Bellapais traffic lights turn left and its immediately on your right.
They have always been very good for us.

Cyprus Eye Clinic it will be - if I can find it - need my eyes testing, you know!

As for supplying the glasses following your test, I have used Akay Optik, who have the best selection of glasses in Girne, but I found them to be a bit unprofessional when it comes to the fitting, whereas Canada Optik ( across the road from the Karakum Lemar) have less choice but are far more professional at the fitting.
