Thanks Deniz1, yes the Kibkom Forum is getting busier by the day with new members signing up every single day and new Threads and Replies constantly being added, so do not understand why How188 believes there is a low input.

Maybe How188 can explain, possibly there are some members from the start that have not been posting. I was similar to those on C44 and usually posted for several weeks then disapeared for a year before returning. Not everyone sits by there computer posting everyday, some only post when they decide they are coming out to the TRNC for holiday and want to ask something. Quite normal if you ask me. That's why a forum needs a very high volume of members otherwise it just would not work.

I stop by for a quick read most days, but do not post that often

I sign in, browse and post comments to my cyber friends on KibKom several times a day. There is always something of interest on every visit I make. It keeps me sane (as there naught here to do where I am at present!!!). It gives me a laugh when some-one posts a witty comment. I find the posts informative on numerous topics, and gives me lots of support on queries I have and provides information on TRNC life - but most of all makes me feel part of something. Thank you one and all

Let me explain, yes there are people active on the forum and it is to a degree like an online chat arena but for visitors and new arrivals is must be able to be a souce of information, assistance and local knowledge.

It would appear that when I have posted looking for "services from satisfied customers" no one seems to reply.
Maybe it is just me!!!

Have been looking for a good gardener and handy man for 5 days and no one on the forum seems to able to recommend someone, maybe because there is no one or people on the formum do not know of anybody?

If you do not get any recommendations then do try gardeners on the directory.

How188 I too read the forum every day, but only post occasionally when I have something to ask, or if I can help someone. Also a lot of us have a life and are not glued to the computer or the forums. This forum is probably the busiest of all of them and is the most friendly. As to your gardner post, you were given at least 2 recommendations, and other info like it's the wrong time of year to deal with the olive pruning, so I don't understand why you say no-one answered you. What is it you actually want from us? I'm sure we are all doing our best to help.
