You don't get out much do you Karl! There are two crossings, one from Famagusta old town roundabout which is clearly marked so you shouldn't get lost with that one, and the other through the village of Beyarmudu and then the mixed village of Pile/Pyla. The latter would be quicker as the crow flies. Drive to Ercan airport then turn left instead of going into the airport. You just follow that road through Gazikoy, Pasakoy, Vadili and Akdogan then turn right at Turkmenkoy towards Beyarmudu. It's not completely straight forward but if you get lost just ask someone. There is a good shortcut before you get to Turkmenkoy - there is a cemetery (Kabristanlik) on the right. If you turn right there it cuts out a lot. It's a lovely journey (on our side anyway) if you want a break for a cheap iced coffee there is a restaurant on the left in Gazikoy owned by a guy called Aziz. Give him my regards.

Ruggy, Also depends where you are leaving from! If from the West side then the above is good. If from the East side then head for Tatlisu along the coast road and when you get to the T junction turn right and just keep going straight ahead over all the roundabouts until you reach Beyarmudu crossing point! After crossing watch out for the old military prison on your left and turn left there to cross the end of Kingsfield airfield, turn left at the T junction and you are heading straight at the motorway to Aiya Napa - can't miss it unless you are texting at the time - lol.

"All together now" - It's a long way to Aiya Napa, it's a long way to go - it's quicker from the East side, cos there's not so far to go - goodbye to Karsiyaka, farewell Alsanjak - it's a shorter trip frrom the East side - and it's quicker, coming back!! Hum along now as you drive away.............

Just love it here - lol.
