Once again I am asking for people to come and support the buyers of greatsrone Lapta 2 who on this Sunday 23 rd their houses will be put up for auction. At the cumaci cafe in Lapta village just across fro bakkal supermarket from 10 am to 12 noon
We had a successful protest at the last auction where the support was fantastic we had banners and placards newspaper and tv coverage but we have been warned by the police that it is illegal for foreigners to protest and if we have banners or placards we could be arrested .
At the last auction there was people from as far as Esentepe , Catalkoy amongst local support .
If you can get there on Sunday we would be very grateful

Sadly, I am in UK where my wife is undergoing radiotherapy post breast cancer removal. However, is it not possible for TCs to hold banners and posters? I wish you every success, as we travelled 50 kms to attend the K5 auction some years ago.

Hey Charlie, what happened to, after 3 failed attempts you have to the wait 6 months before the next auction?

Nobody seems to really no the procedure we were led to believe that after three auctions there was a need for the land registery to apply for another auction.

There has been one auction cancelled by Denktash one auctioned postponed after forty five minutes and two full two hour auctions so this one on Sunday may only count as the third.
