I don't think you can pay it online but you can set up a direct debit with your bank.

Thanks for the information. I think I need to go to the water utility office in person - as the account is in the landlord's name... but he's required me to pay it.
Can anyone tell me the location of the office in Lefcosia? I'm not that familiar with the city yet.
thanks a lot.

Does not matter who`s name the bill is in (and don`t change it), just take it to a bank,Credit West for example, and they will be able to tell you how much is outstanding and give you a receipt when you pay it.
That`a assuming you have some kind of bill which you should have to prove the account is up to date.

It does not matter whose name the account is in would suggest you just go into any bank to pay as Deniz1 has recommended.
If you have a bank account here you can set up a direct debit so it is paid automatically every month.
The water supply is administered by the Council offices so it would depend where you were in Lefkosa as to which office you would go to.

Thanks a lot. It seems the bill hasn't been paid for 2, 3 months... and I was just this week given the invoice. It's all in Turkish, so difficult to understand. But if I take that to the office (or a bank), they can help me? I'm in Kermiya, near the Metehan crossing.

It is only right that you should pay for the water and not your landlord. In the same way that you pay for your electric and not your landlord. You can pay anybodys bills, no office will refuse payment for anything from anybody - they are just happy to take the money. You must obtain a receipt for the amount paid to whatever it is you are paying for - common sense - you must also retain the bill that you paid, also common sense. Personally, I do not trust any direct debit system in place in any bank here (then again, I do not trust any bank here either) and I always pay in cash and normally as late as I can (learning to be a Cypriot) like all the locals do. Not saying that my way is the best way as it means I take a morning-ish a month and just wander round paying bills, shopping and generally enjoying myself - I can do that because I do not work anymore! It has allowed me to become a "known face" in all the departments I pay and when I have problems I can discuss it with them easily because they know I am not a swallow but live here permanently. If you pay at any pay office then you are paying the department you owe, if you pay at a bank then you are depending on the bank to actually pay that department for you. Up to you.
If it helps:
https://www.lefkosabelediyesi.org/iletisim/ The arrow on the map shows you where the lefkosa belediyesi is located or you can call them on 03922285221 and ask for the location of your local paying point.

An amount next to 'Bakiye' would indicate the arrears. I would imagine you come under Gonyeli Municipality, if you go from the Border to the 'Ataturk on a horse roundabout' take the first exit drive along until you see a large very modern building on your left which is their offices. If you reach the traffic lights onto the Lefkosa/Guzelyurt road you have gone passed it!

I know what roundabout statue you are referring to ... the soldier on the rearing horse statue. When I approach that roundabout do I go left, right, or continue on north past the Lemar?
Sorry for all the questions, and thank you for all the information.
