I'd buy one if I were you. All, if not most, of the Medical Equipment shops sell them and they are so cheap here. That way you can use it for as long as you like and it will be brand new. There are also different designs to chose from. Good luck

#cheshire homes: 815 3767 Ask for Filiz who s peaks good English. Cheshire Homes (connected to the international CH) are a Charity , so strictly speaking they do not hire but loan - however they ask for a donation and do need it as they do good work and get little support. It is worth going to them as they have other items you may need (for instance a stick when you start to improve) and an in house physiotherapist. Hour roughly 9am to 3.30 weekdays but best to phone first as they are very short staffed.

I have a pair of big boy crutches, padded ,you can certainly borrow. Only done a few miles. You know who to contact if you can't get a walking frame.

I donated mine to TRNC Health Advisory 05338798479 give them a call to see is you can borrow them. I would also recommend that you get an extension toilet seat I also donated this as well. I found the toilet seat too low to get down on when I had my operations both in the TRNC and UK.
