Hi

Looking for recommendations for a good, reasonably priced upholsterer.

We have a couple of chairs and footstools which we want recovering.

We are based out east side, but happy to travel if needs be. If you have used someone please let us know what you had done and if possible approx price and time taken to do the work.

Feel free to pm or email.

Thanks for help

Mermaid in Karakum, have a good reputation, no idea of cost though.

I would second Mermaid. Had quite a few upholstery jobs done by them and always good workmanship and very reasonable prices.

Hi, we recently had two old sofas recovered which now look like new. We used a shop more or less opposite Bollywoods (to the left if viewed from Bollywood's) Price was competitive and the work was of a good standard. We have purchased various things over the years and the service and quality has always been very good. I would post a before and after photo of the sofas but have no idea how to resize!

Persan Nicosia have a great choice of fabrics. We have had dining room chairs recovered and were happy with the price for both fabric and upholstery. Quality fabric and quality job

Burhan. Don't have a great choic in fabrics but very good at upholstery. You can buy your fabric elsewhere and take the fabric to them for upholstery. Burhan are happy about this. Bought Persan fabric and had 3 piece suite reupholstered. Also bed headboards. Quality job.

Didn't someone on here say that the man who did the work for mermaid had died?
