How is the getting off at SAW working now, have they ironed out the problems yet?
Would very much like to hear from anyone with recent experience.
Many thanks

Flew Stansted / SAW / Ercan on 06/-7 and back on 21/07. No problem either way. Disembarked at SAW. Went through security, once at international transfers and again at gate to re-embark. Luggage and bodies searched at gate. Those who had failed to understand the no laptop rule were relieved of their devices which were bagged and placed in the hold.
An hour on the ground, just time for a pee and to buy a drink. No problems either way apart from someone feinting in the queue. Over dressed and overweight = overheated was the medics diagnosis
First time with Pegasus and would certainly fly with them again. On time, in fact early on both return legs.
Regards,
Brian.

I would rather put sharp sticks in my eyes than Fly Pegasus, the ground staff are rude & the cabin crew well who trained them , they never smile etc.

Sadly Having flown Pegasus a couple of times before in the past we decided a few years ago that they would be our last choice of airline. Unfortunately we have to agree that the on board service is in our opinion nearly always poor and with no IFE it's a long boring flight. Some of the issues are around language as the flight attendants don't seem to be able to interact or communicate with the customer clearly. Yes we know it's a Turkish airline, but as they are flying to the UK this is one area they need to work on. Turkish Airlines seem to have got it right. The only advantage was when you could remain on the aircraft after landing in Turkey.
As we live in the south west we inevitably have to travel to Gatwick, Heathrow or possibly Birmingham for our flights. There are flights Bristol - Paphos but that's to long a transfer and Bristol - Larnaca but that is normally a charter airline flying on set days throughout the summer season, plus prices are not competitive. For Ercan our preference is Turkish Airlines if we can get a good price. Alternatively we will use Larnaca and have flown BA, EasyJet, Aegean Air and Norwegian. Trying Cobalt next.
Hopefully sometime when, the embargo on flights to the TRNC will be lifted and there will be a much bigger choice of flights direct from the UK.

What I find really annoying about Pegasus is the way they price everything in Euros. It used to be in Sterling and/or Lira, but now Euros.....why??? I can only assume it is to well and truly rip people off. In the past, not having any Euros due to us using either Lira or Sterling, they have converted the price into Lira at a ridiculous rate of exchange. We questioned the rate on one occasion and were told that they were given a list of rates each day, which we were shown by the Stewardess. So, decided on next trip to take Euros...also a rip-off, as they always say they have no change to give in Euros, so give you Lira instead, again at a ridiculous rate. Unless you have the exact money, in Euros, you will be ripped off. Always travel Turkish Airlines now, which is actually often cheaper then Pegasus and includes food and drink.
