Excessive loud music in O'live bar.

I don't like loud music and that's no secret.
Tonight in O'live bar we pulled some of the sliding glass screens across to cut out the loud music. The temporary (I hope) barman then pulled the screens open so we were deafened by the music which he deliberately turned-up. I understand there are certain nights when loud music is played and I avoid going there on such evenings. However the dj seems to want his ego massaged by playing loud music on non-music evenings. There seems to be a culture of allowing the staff to do what they want, rather than what the customers want.

In the event of unwelcome loud music in bars & restaurants ( & once in a lapta waterpark) I simply unplug the nearest speaker.

Well whoever is playing loud music in a place as small as the Olive Bar is not very good at their job. Also lots of Glass so probably bad acoustics.

Watch your audience. Also loud music normally comes later in evening. What time was it ?

I normally start of a little bit slower and toned down earlier. But after saying this,I have been asked several times by idiots to play loud dance dance music during dinner hours. ( been verbally abused for not doing it).

Want to listen to LOUD music anywhere - wear a headset and keep it to yourself or go to a venue where LOUD music is allowed to be played!

I see the Olive bar as more of what I would call a drinkers bar. Firstly I don't see why they think they need entertainment, It does not strike me as an entertainment type venue. But to play excessive loud music in there at 7.15 is idiotic.
