Residency at Lefkosia Immigration

Has anyone renewed their residency this week at Lefkosia please? If so, what were the queues like? Some years ago there was an amnesty during August and we usually have to make several trips to get a ' number' to be seen or go at 6.30 am. Thank you, any responses would be most welcome before we set the alarm clock on Friday.

Wife went on Monday, arrived just after 9am had to wait about 2 hours

Thank you Dave G. I was hoping this year it might be better.....we have tried going later as recommended by BRS web site only to get turned away as quota for the day had already been met. Looks like an ear!y start and a long morning!

We went last week. Got there about 9am and only took 1 hour.

Arrived at 9.30, all done and dusted by 10.10! I was number 33 of the day. Amazed, totally amazed and thankful!
