See in their advert in CT this week that CReditwest Bank offer free international transfers. We have been banking with them for approx. 12 years and have always been charged for transfer unless you leave them in a deposit account for a month. Moved to Catalkoy, from Karaoglanoglu branch about two years ago and are assured by Catalkoy that they do not charge, howver, one account left in Karaoglanoglu left to receive various GBP incomings, for which we have been charged. Currently, can`t get any answer from the manager there, wonder if anybody else has any experiences or thoughts.

I think you will find that the free International Transfer service is a recent addition and that it only covers any charge that they (Credit West) would have normally made when sending money out of the TRNC. it probably will not cover any charges made by the intermediary bank in Turkey.
