Some pictures showing how the famous Tarhana soup is made. There is a Turkish and a Cypriot version and ÇATOM KOOP women are making both. Today they are making the Turkish version with peppers, onions and yoghurt

In the last picture you see the finished cooked 'biscuits' drying in the sun. This will be sold and to reconstitute it you add water. Cooking instructions will be on the packaging, Afiyet Olsun!!

After drying the 'dots' are crushed dried again and then can be kept in airtight containers to be used like a commercial packet soup.
