We haven't had any water since the weekend. Spoke to the Esentepe Beledeyesi this morning and they said there had been a "little problem" with the water but it would be turned in today at 2.30 pm. Still not had any. Has anyone else had any problems???

In our part of Alsancak, we have been without for 3 days, back on again today. It does appear, as to a greater or lesser extent, rationing is happening, despite assurances that those days were well and truly over.

We're west of Esentepe Village.
Just checked our water supply, on with good pressure.
Don't know if it was off earlier or not.

We're on West side of Esentepe, water went off on Monday and was switched back on in the early hours of this morning. According to the Belediye Facebook page there was a fault which was fixed last night.

Thanks everyone for your speedy replies. I was hoping it was that kind of problem but at the moment we still have no water on our estate.

In Esentepe village and ours came back on late last night.

Still no water this morning. Looks like another trip to the Bele.

MrsD, please post here when water comes back on or you get information from the Bele. I take it that estate valve has not been turned off at the bottom.

Try rebooting the water meter with your payment card-the meter sometimes gets jammed..

It will only take a minute.

Water meter is fine. It's our whole estate not getting it. The valve is switched on at the bottom of our estate. The Bele said that the water is back on From Turkey but not on as strong as normally so they don't have enough water to supply everyone they are emptying their tank and then refilling it but when they turn it back on next time we would get priority. Still no water ! They were hoping it would get back to normal in a couple days.

So... water comes from Turkey and goes into a big reservoir, which fills up, and then people turn their taps on and get water from this big reservoir.....
...But has Turkey turned their tap off once the reservoir is full....?
And do Turkey only turn their tap back on when the reservoir is empty (if someone notices and tells Turkey)....
I do hope the watchman at the side of the reservoir hasn't fallen asleep or nipped off to see his girlfriend.....

Finally! Water is back on and our tanks gave filled overnight.

Well, Dipkarpaz suddenly seems to be on rationing - one day on - one day off!!! What p****s me off is the lack of information. Loads of rumour mongering, no real truth!!!!

What has happened to the 'Project of the Century' ?? There was going to be enough water to supply the South too????
