Beware

Went to the new bar in Lapta last night, up the road and on the left over the road from the Cabin
where all of the sheds are. I had 1 Efes and it cost 10tl. Rip off or what. I complained and the
barman and asked to speak to the owner. The barman said the owner didn't speak English and
said I will give you 2tl back which he did, so be very aware if you go in as to how much they charge
you. I for one will not be going again.

Was the price of the beer on the menu card or was it the barman making hay while the sun shines?

No price list for beer, just for cocktails. Not long got back from mainland.
Yes it is expensive over there, but this is not the mainland.

Bottle of COLD Efes Malt 25cl = 2Tl (£0.44)$::$

Yes, I see what you're saying - although of course Carpenters is a Restaurant, not a Bar, and you will always pay a higher price for Beer, Wine & Spirits in a Restaurant...
If you call into a Bar for a drink, you expect to pay Bar prices! (Although there is a chap who lives 'just around the corner' who uses Carpenter's as his Local I don't know what arrangement he has!
