Locked Threads.

Whilst I do not disagree that offensive threads should be locked, am a little concerned that the ITS STARTED thread has been locked. It denies KibKomers the opportunity to express their support for Soner and the moderators.

This forum facilitates healthy, vigorous debate with many differing views which in turn are treated with (usually) respect. I for one find that a different perspective is quite interesting. Also the most helpful members freely sharing information and advice.

Am I alone on this, what do others think.

I am perplexed, who can lock a thread???
Why would they, who ever they are, not Sonor or Moderators, do this.

Andrew, thanks for you answer.
I am still confused, easily done I must say.
Who, and on what criteria, can lock a thread and is the thread creator notified and it is identified as locked and why.
Maybe I just do not know where to look
Maybe there should be place on the forum where locked threads are placed with the reasons?

How188, threads are lokked by moderators, usually if for instance an item for sale has been sold, or there seems to be trouble brewing within a topic, in which case a comment is usually placed by myself or a moderator. These locked threads eventually make there way to the end of the category that they are in, as nobody can add a reply to bring it back to the top of the forum category. If you are unhappy with a thread being locked then you can post a PM or Email to me at info@kibkom.com

Hope this helps.

Thanks Soner, sorry if I spelt your name incorrectly at any time.
