has anyone managed to get one of these recently, i tired earlier in the year and was sent away told to come back in september god knows why but we are in cyprus , so am going to try again any tips on where to go and and who to see ?

Not sure if what you are referring to is Citizenship, If its the latter, then I know someone who has got a date after 10 years of hoop jumping!

no its something different i am and have been working legally for 7 yrs now it means i don't need to have to have a work permit anymore i can go and work for anyone

yes i have, and this week I am in the process of sorting out my pension, as you quite rightly stated at the beginning of the year a foreigner is not entitled to a pension and their contribution goes into the central pension pot.
I will try and pm you, it took eight months and a lot of visits to lefkosa.

My wife had one of these you habe to do the full medical at the state hospital takes a full day waiting eye test hearing etc etc blood tests . Then you come back for results after about two weeks .

My wife has the citizenship now as do i but well woth gettimg the white card as you say avoids requirement for work permot .

If you have a work permit it does not after as they say 5years mean you get to have a permit to work for free . If you have paid into the pension scheme you wont get a pension here as you know but if you the Co you work for ends your employment then you can apply to get all your contributions back if you dont and you work for a doggy Co they will and not tell you
What you get back is based on your payments plus 10% . As in UK if you leave it there the % pays every year but do make sure the government office is aware as many people this is your at your request
If you have been employed within the last 5 years they put down the contributions and you cant get anything back as you paid such a small payment
As for not needing a work permit this does not happen though it is promised

i Thought the white card was a permanent residence card?
