Morning all,

Can anyone recommend any beaches with wheelchair/stroller access?

My cousin who is in a wheelchair visited earlier in the year.
I did a small "rece" and found Deniz Kizi and Escape where the best bets. There are still a few steps but the staff at Deniz Kizi were very helpful, so I'm sure you won't have a problem (we didn't visit Escape)

KALPLICA beach is quite good access for a wheelchair and they have now got a new area which is grass overlooking the beach.

Where is Kaplica Beach please. And can anyone suggest any beaches East of Girne that involve only a few yards walk from the carpark and at most four or five steps with handrail.

Ps as a matter of interest what do Deniz Kizi and Escape and Keplica charge for beach access?

Kaplica beach is way past Tatlisu & Zambak .......

Kervansaray, slope all the way to the beach, no need to negotiate steps - and an area right at the start of the beach with a disabled sign designating an area, not to segregate but to make provision for, disabled persons.

i maybe mistaken but didn't taslisu municipality build a ramp out to sea to assist people with wheelchairs be able to swim therefore 'one' would assume this was a wheelchair friendly area

The new beach run by the Belediyesi is open at Karaolanoglu and has wheelchair access, toilets, changing room sand a cafe. Turn right/left [depending from which direction you are coming] at the Bird garage and drive down to the coast.
