Now that the cat has dried out considerably, it is pale ginger with white on the exposed right shoulder and a bit on the face. I really hope somebody will remove it soon, but it won't be me!!

It is the responsibility of the Belediye - why dont you contact them, point out they havent finished clearing the waterway and that the dead cat in particular is a health hazard. I doubt if any other human agency will remove it.

The men working there with the strimmers were asked on Thursday to remove the rubbish. They assured me that they would!! It is all still there, blocking the waterways, except that which I removed on Friday to prevent it blocking the waterway through my garden. The pollution caused by the dead cat will be in all the waterways coming from there, so could be spread far and wide, in gardens and orchards that use the water! I've stopped using it, except for mixing cement!!

I'm pleased to tell you that this morning, I managed to buttonhole the men who were trimming trees, and clearing the cuttings from last week, and they removed the dead cat. I'm hoping that they'll also remove the bag of bottles, cans and other garbage that I collected, but couldn't carry up to the road. I shall watch with interest.
