Has anyone been to the Chinese above recently? I know it started well but the last time we went it was not good at all. That was last year.
Has anyone got any recent experience and comments please? We have family over and they have asked about it.

We went on the 26 July and sat outside in the evening. We both had the 14 course taster menu plus 1/2 crispy duck. My partner had a lovely chilled Chenin blanc and I had Bombay and tonic . I am not keen on suchi but the rest was excellent and more than we could eat they also realised it was my partners birthday so went to the main restaurant and came back with a cake and the staff sang happy birthday. So an excellent meal with attentive staff and none of the sarcasm as in the red lion over what I want to drink. In fairness I have had some nice meals in the red lion but the owners attitude stinks. It's my seventh visit and enjoyed every one.
