Does anybody know which places are doing Christmas eve / Christmas day gala meals this year? Went to mountain view a few years ago and had a great time so just wondered what other options there may be for Christmas eve or / and Christmas day.

They don't all do it well... often reported on this forum. Sadly over-priced, under-staffed and under expectations is the gist of many a thread.
As a result we have never felt it a risk worth taking.... As the op has had what they regard a good time at Mountain View I'd venture suggest they repeat that.....

Basically I totally agree with Groucho, however, one or two exceptions as far as we are concerned. Veni Vici in Lapta Christmas Eve and our favorite for Christmas Day is Morellis. As to cost its up to individuals. I know some people who have been going to Acmenya for last 4 years and definitely wouldn't go anywhere else.

Don't know which side of Girne you live or want to travel too but there is a monthly publication of venues advertising what they are doing the website is:
