Lord's Palace Afternoon Tea - Results

The Lord’s Palace held a talk on 1st October 2017 on breast cancer given by Tulips representative Mine Cağlar covering topics such as how to have a healthy lifestyle, how to examine yourself, statistics on breast cancer etc.
Raziye Kocaismail, founder of KHYD, also gave a very moving talk on her own personal experience of being a cancer patient and why she set up Tulips/ Help Those With Cancer Association (KHYD).
The talk was very well received by our expat community with one person stating that she found the talk very informative and helpful.
Following the talk Lord’s Palace produced a fabulous display of cakes and local crafts for sale.
All the proceeds taken from the sale of tea, coffee and cakes will be donated to Tulips at the end of October, as the hotel is still supporting Pink Month throughout October in their new coffee shop, where pink cakes can be bought with a % of the sales coming to Tulips.
We thank everyone who attended from both the Turkish and Expat community and we look forward to seeing the results of the Lord’s Palace support at the end of the month.
