She's a numpty who would doom Scotland to EU enslavement if it meant she could realise her Anglophobic dream. About time the Scots woke up, cast off the self-imposed cloak of victim status and concentrated of what they are good at rather than blaming all their woes on anyone but themselves.

Rhetorical but, why cannot there be a referendum for the English to rid England of the Scots who could then find their own way in the world? No Westminster funding, fund and provide your own defence, health care, all the various politicians and their staffs, security, police, education, social care etc. I ask because, whilst my father was a true Scot, it would appear that very few Scots want to be associated with England and or English people. Tin hat at the ready!

Why did england not just dump Scotland when they had the opportunity, I really could never understand why England were so keen to retain it during the Scottish referendum? England now again have the opportunity to offer Scotland to the EU as part of the Brexit negotiations, Scotland did of course vote to 'remain' so no problem there, democracy satisfied. The foreigners might not realise scotland is such a burden (unless of course they read your informative contribution on kibcom). Why not throw in Northern Ireland too, one of the EU initial demands will then be sorted (NI also voted to remain) .
With Scotland and Northern Ireland gone England and Wales could continue to trade, burdonless, with the rest of the world.
Tomsteel et al, what products will England and Wales trade with the wide World when they have rid themselves of the Scottish and Irish and EU " parasites" ?
Now, don't forget, answers like "Cornish pasties" and "Yorkshire puddings" are no longer acceptable, EU product protections will no longer apply when we rid ourselves of the EU yoke.

Now then, there’s a thought. If England and Wales had a vote and decided to go for Independence they could rid themselves of their troublesome neighbours and Europe (as Scotland would have been forced to do), leaving the British EU membership intact in the safe hands of the new British Caledonia members. No more pesky EU Brexit meetings.

PAY-UP!! No No that’s not the way it works Keithcaley, you just have to get membership then totally screw up your economy and the EU will pay it for you, well it worked for Greece didn’t it!
