Laptops and iPads with Turkish airlines

I seem to remember that laptops and iPads are now allowed in hand luggage on Turkish airline flights from Ercan to Manchester via Istanbul. Is this correct? Has anyone flown this route recently? Thanks.

Yes fly over from Manchester this week asked at desk was told the restrictions have been lifted
