We are all so excited to be able to tell you that The Fez in Catalkoy are hosting a Christmas Party on Thursday 23rd November 2017 for our local Charity.
The Fez is a special place especially at Christmas with all their beautiful lights, Christmas Trees and decorations and we are over the moon they are having us there! The ambiance is pure magic!
There will be a HOT buffet with a choice of home made Lasagna or Chilli served with delicious salads, rice and Loraine's special chips ! (The best).
The DJ - Mr. Personality himself Dave Mancini will be playing his wide selection of music and creating a lovely Party atmosphere.
We have performances from two amazing artists singing live - Sadie with her soulful and melodic voice and a special guest Dominic Holmes who in our opinion is the best talent North Cyprus has ever had.
Our sincere thanks to these three lovely people who are giving their time and their incredible talent to us out of the goodness of their hearts.
We hope to have some lovely surprises for you ---- it is a Christmas Party after all!
We just have to dot the i's and cross the t's on the final arrangements so please keep looking on here or on our NCCCT FB page.
It will be a Ticket only Party and these will be limited! Price and where to buy we will confirm in a little while.

Our Grand Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday 9th December 2017 at the lovely Pia Bella Hotel in Girne who have been our hosts for so many years for this special event and we thank them!
We hope to do a lot more this year with things that you and your family can join in and enjoy so creating a real Christmas atmosphere.
Please make a note of these two dates and we will be putting further details on here soon.

Our Christmas Party!
Not just any Party but a North Cyprus Cancer Charity Trust one!
You are going to be in a place full of Christmas magic, eating delicious home cooked food and listening to the best entertainment!
We have a limited number of tickets to be sold and we are asking just 75 TL per person to share this special evening with us..
For those of you living on the west of Girne we can provide transport but this is not included in the ticket price.
Each ticket has a chance of winning a special Christmas prize.

We are all working away like good Santa's elves putting together the finishing touches for both our Christmas events.

The Grand Christmas Bazaar being hosted by the ever popular and friendly Pia Bella in Girne will be starting at 11. 00 AM on Saturday the 9th December 2017.( Please make a note of the time and date).
The Pia Bella have warned us that there will be work going on in the existing car park area and have advised us to let you know that there is ample parking at the front of the Hotel adjacent with the football ground and to avoid the back of the hotel.

For that reason as well our Bazaar will be concentrated at the front of the Hotel leading through the covered walkways and out into the beautiful gardens.We are going to have the whole of the new dining and lounge area for you all to sit in comfort and enjoy all of what we have in store for you.
There are going to be at least two special guests if not more! Ho! Ho! Ho!
There will be music, Christmas stalls, games to try your luck on, photo's with some very special people,,our charity stalls, mulled wine and hot chestnuts, our famous Raffle and 50/50 and so much more. We will be asking just 10 TL to include tea/coffee and homemade cake per person and it will be such a special morning.

Obviously I have notified all the people who have already reserved their tickets and they will be collecting today.

A gentle reminder of our Christmas Fayre to be held on the 9th December 9th (the 2nd Saturday) at the the lovely Pia Bella in Girne.
This will start at 11.0 0 am and we will be asking a 10 TL donation per person to include a warming cuppa of tea or coffee and homemade cake.
We have THREE very special people coming to join us, SANTA, MOTHER SANTA and their very best friend and helper ELF.
There will be stalls galore selling everything from gifts, homemade jams and pickles, cards, clothes, jewelry,handbags, crafts and pottery and more.
Our charity stalls will be overflowing with lovely items from Christmas decorations, books, bric a brac, quality fashions, our homemade cakes - this will be a real Christmas market.
There will be a photographer there to take a keepsake picture of you with Santa, , Christmas music, mulled wine and hot chestnuts, our Christmas Raffle, 50/50, our tombola stall and other things for you to join in with and enjoy.
This will be a morning filled with fun, laughter and true Christmas Spirit.
Our sincere thanks to three very special people for caring and helping our small local Charity and of course all of you that have supported us in the past, present and hopefully future.
All we need to do now is wait for the day and see you there!

Apologies for the lateness in posting about our Christmas Party at The Festive Fez last Thursday but we have been so busy at our two shops and organizing things for the Christmas Fayre and Market.
We cannot say enough thank you's to the three brilliant entertainers - Sadie, Dave Mancini and Dominic Holmes who all gave their time and talent for free for the Charity.
The place was buzzing with laughter, enjoyment and dancing.
Our Christmas surprise presents went down a treat as did the auction of the lovely Christmas cake which was successfully bid for by the staff of The Fez
The food Santa had a hand in as the homemade chilli was turned into a chicken curry but Hey! Ho!
Our thanks go to everyone at The Fez and a special thank you to Hayal for her kind donation to our charity.

We are so pleased to b able to tell you all that just over 4000. 00 TL was raised at the Party to help us help the local Girne State Hospital.

It has been a tradition for our charity that we have put up and decorated a Christmas Tree in the lovely Pia Bella Hotel in Girne as a thank you for hosting our Christmas Fayre and Market!
This is what we have been doing today and we have all really enjoyed it.
The staff of the Pia Bella are just so warm and friendly and looked after us all so well.
A slight alteration to the planning of our event! The back Car Park CAN be used. Initially we were told that building work was going to be in progress but the lovely Mehmet , manager of the Pia Bella, has told us that this work has been postponed.
Good news for us and everyone coming to the event.
Work Hats on as we are all going to be running now preparing everything to make the morning, Saturday 9th December 11. 00 am start, very special and full of Christmas Cheer!

Came to the Pia Bella for the Christmas Fayre. Must admit was very disappointed. We paid the 10 lira entrance fee for a mince pie/christmas cake and tea/coffee and all we got was gingerbread men and a slice of lemon cake. People were not sure which entrance to use and where to pay their money - bad organisation.

We are very sorry to read the last post and the negative comment.
The Pia Bella has recently had huge alterations and where we were asked to be both inside and outside gave us the problem of trying to manage at least five different entrances which with our small team of volunteers was impossible to do.
We had two people at the back entrance to meet and greet and also initially at the front but as more people seemed to be coming in through the side entrances we had to move our volunteers accordingly.
Our Ladies selling raffle tickets and our Ladies manning the homemade cake stall near to our Christmas display were all happy to help anyone who needed it as indeed any of us on our Charity stall which was just outside one of the side entrances.
We had baked for us and gifted mince pies,shortbread christmas trees,ginger bread men, christmas cupcakes, chocolate cakes and various other seasonal cakes and also homemade slab lemon and orange cake which we were very grateful for but some were more popular than others so were eaten first.
The station which our volunteers were manning serving the cakes and helping people with their teas and coffees was continually being restocked from our homemade cake stall.
We also had gifted a beautiful home made Christmas cake which was successfully auctioned and another beautiful gifted cake was won in Santa's Christmas present raffle.
A 10 T donation to our small local Charity which includes entrance , a cup of tea/coffee and homemade cake we honestly feel is not a lot to ask for!
Perhaps if we have another venue at the Pia Bella in the future it would be better to not try and cover all the entrances but simply have a station just before where the cakes are being served out for people to give their donation.

A lot of people when asked by our volunteers at the entrances refused to pay anything .They just wanted to have a look and maybe buy from the stalls and were not interested in the refreshments. What do you do? Suggestions on a post card please or maybe just on our dear Kibkom.

NCCCT, 3 of us travelled from Esentepe and all 3 of us throughly enjoyed and bought from the stalls.

Paid the 10tl and none of us had tea/coffee or mince pie/cake but that was our choice.

Thank you for organising the day and always remember "you can only please all the people some of the time".

We also enjoyed the fair at the Pia Bella. We came in through the front of the hotel without seeing a ticket seller because, I understand, there were simply not enough volunteers to man all the entry points. But no problem really as it was easy to find a volunteer to take our 10TL entrance fee - well worth it. Well done to all those volunteers who put in so much time and effort to make the occasion a success.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Christmas Fayre and market on Saturday the 9th December at the Pia Bella in Girne.
We welcome feedback on any of our events and if we have not got things quite right we will try to do better the next time.The people who have been into both of our shops since have all given positive comments and have said how much they enjoyed it.
There were points we struggled with but it was entirely due to lack of our numbers and the geography of the layout we were trying to cover. Maybe by next year we will have more volunteers to help on the day or other changes will be made.
The GOOD news is that our small local charity raised with your support just over 13.000. 00 TL which will enable us to help Girne State Hospital improve the care of their patients by buying much needed and often life saving equipment.
