Ask this question to the Turkish cypriots and they will say "no, it's not occupied by Turkey"... ask a Greek cypriot and the answer is yes.

Today, I've concluded that the answer is YES. Why? Palpal is now stopped in Turkey, as it is here in TRNC. Oh, you can access your Paypal account, but cannot receive or send money. As I understand, if you have funds previously in your Paypal account, it can be transferred to a Turkish bank, but that's the extent of it.

I am using PayPal ok but through a uk bank.

Your difficulties with Paypal is not the arbiter... Neither is the rump ROC. The way the population here feels safe with protection afforded by the presence of Turkish peacekeepers is good evidence that most don't feel 'occupied' . Perception is reality...

I remember being present at a conversation between a Greek and Turkish Cypriot about invasion and occupation.

The Greek Cypriot said "WE were invaded" to which the Turkish Cypriot replied "YOU were invaded, but WE were occupied!"
