A very interesting read, I found it on fb earlier & didn't know how to copy it...... something I was not aware of. With the mindset of Greek Cypriots as it was then, I can't see there has been any change in over 50 years....

The UK Government can not pretend (Mr Kidd) that Turkey's presence in Cyprus has not been a force for good.

Good read. Because I've read the genocide files (which incidentally is a must in my opinion) When in conversation on this subject I make a point of saying it started long before '74.
Watched a video the other day which had Mr corbyn talking about Cyprus - mentioned on more than 1 occasion the invasion of the Turkish army. It was very clear who he felt were perpetrators.
Said for many years until the world's governments verbally acknowledge the truth there will not be any reunification. The south feel they were and still are the victims and the world supports this view and they want their just deserts.
