Hi all, I would just like to thank everyone who came along to our Remembrance Sunday service at the old British cemetery last Sunday. It was a great turnout for our 9th annual service and we were again blessed with perfect weather for the occasion.
As you can imagine an event of this magnitude doesn't just happen and I am blessed with an extremely professional group behind the scenes. Whether it is the guys who lay out the chairs for me, the dressing of each grave with flowers and a wooden cross, the bugler, the standard bearers, the guy who sorts the order of service, the commentator, the ladies who help with the collection, the chair delivery van - the list goes on and on.
You then have the team who organise the Sunday lunch at the Ship inn, the team who organise the trip to Wayne's Keep on the Monday. All have a big part to play in order for the weekend to be a success.
I thank you one and all and I urge each and everyone of you to attend the 10th anniversary next year which we hope to make special for you all.

Brian
