Well, give them their due, it went off at 9am and came back near enough 3pm. And they were right to warn us not to rely on any reappearance of electrcitiy because it came on about 12 for a few mins and went off again. So much easier to cope with if one knows what is happening and has a time scale. Well done KIbtec - mashallah!

Actually I get the impression the warning was meant to guard against electrocution by working on circuitry without taking adequate steps to isolate the mains feed.... as the outage length could not be relied upon...

And there was me thinking that it was to save me being stuck with a load of wet washing in a machine that could not be opened.
