Can anyone please tell me if Friday 1st December is a bank holiday and will the tax office be open. Thank you.

According to this link
https://www.qppstudio.net/publicholiday ... cyprus.htm and a North Cyprus calendar I have, Friday 1st December, is the prophet's birthday and is a public holiday. Nothing mentioned about 30th November but it is St Andrew's day so we'll be celebrating.
Best check with the banks, tax office direct to find out if they're open but probably not.

Schools are closed on Thursday as it’s a religious holiday x

To be honest, the only people who can answer that question are the Belediye themselves - I think that it's probably best to ask 'em!

Credit West Bank have just confirmed they will be closed on Thursday and open on Friday.
National holiday.

You are right of course Keith.
Does anyone have the tel no of the tax office in Girne. I have googled it without success.
Don't fancy battling with the traffic only to find it closed. Thanks in advance for any information.

Just phoned our local Beledyesi (Esentepe) they are closed Thursday 30th Open Friday 1st.
Quite possible that the Girne tax office will be the same.
