new year celebrations

we are going to be in TRNC for new year (prob 27 dec - 8 jan ish)

What entertainment etc/festivals/celebrations etc are on over new year please

and.....

anyone have any info ref 'do's' that are on in any of the bigger hotels?

Fireworks in the town centre, in the Hotels it is usually Turkish entertainment. Good atmosphere in Whiskey Joe's bar.

Not much being advertised yet, especially the hotels who usually provide some very good New Year packages, I assume they would advertise shortly.
