Blues TV

At the risk of being ridiculed by some of my Villa friends I’m looking for some information .
Anyone not interested in football can quickly move on to another posting if they wish.

The Blues TV progamme gives international supporters the opportunity to view every live game except for games televised by Sky Sports.Since it’s introduction in August we (yes there is another Blues supporter on the island) have only been able to watch the away games-not any home games

The Birmingham City technical guru has conducted exstensive tests and are now saying that because Northern Cyprus is not a regonisecd country there system is unable to recognise our location so they are therefore unable to transmit the live games-even though we can view the away games

Are there any other Bluenoses on the island having the same problems?

It would be good to hear from you and know doubt the comedians as well.

I know nothing (and care less, if that is possible ) about football, but have you tried using a VPN? - The intention being to make it appear that you are actually in the UK...

If you've not tried it, it could be worthwhile.

If you have already tried it, then I'm fresh out of ideas!

The Blues are one of a few clubs that don't use the Ifollow service - most EFL clubs do, thats why you can see the away games and not home. Did the guru offer any help? a VPN will work masking your IP to a non UK or Cyprus address - USA, France etc for instance.
More info here https://www.libertyshield.com/blog/blue ... ng-uk-vpn/

Re Keith Caley above - it needs to be a non UK IP address as they only offer the service to non UK residents.

Ok Wolves Tv recognise me when I'm in Ozankoy as being in Cyprus .

I registered for the matches using my TRNC address (eg Girne Ozankoy Mersin + postcode (courtesy of kibkom site) and watched Wolves matches )
Also using free touch vpn chrome extension i've placed my self in Turkey and viewed matches
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... bknd?hl=en

Matches that are on sky such as monday nights derby with Wolves will not be shown on Wolves or Blues Tv this includes matches screened as the uk 3pm kick off on beIN sport

ON THE GAME MONDAY

I dont take it as a given win for Wolves

As Blues have gained most of their points from top six sides and we have loose one in six its matches this season not a given as we are on five straight wins the Blues match is number six

Blues are going through the problems we have suffered in the past with crazy owners why sack Rowett hope you start winning after Monday night

I went to a Birmingham match a little while ago.A copper caught me getting over the wall. The miserable sod made me go back in and watch the rest of the game.

Ipman,

The Blues guru says “ you can only get the Wolves TV coverage on a PC not through an app on IPad”which is what we are both using.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks.

Hi Art, just had a quick look on the Wolves TV website https://www.wolves.co.uk/shop/wolvestv/wolvestv-faqs/ and it does state that its only available on Desktop PC for the video content - you can get the commentary on a tablet or phone just not live pictures.

"WolvesTV live commentary can be accessed across desktop, tablet and mobile, live streams are only available on desktops."

Blues TV should be fine on Phone though.

We are both using iPads so we have to go through the official BCFC app which at the moment will only cover away games.
