Suzanne Fehni runs them & I know she has sent dogs to UK but I don't think she comes on here. She does do face book though. If you want a tel. no I can probably get one for you

I hope you don't mind me asking but why aren't you using KAR to ship your dog?

KAR are not the only ones able to send dogs to UK, you can do it yourself but the paperwork obviously must be spot on.....

I am currently with Kar waiting for bloods , but been told that Kar well over price everything, so I am looking for first hand experience by someone who may have used K9 , also they advertise that them self *KAR*! are the only reconiseed people who can do the transfer from here Trnc to the uk, how true is this , because I spoke to K9 just now and they said they also do it ? I don't wanna risk my dog by skimping on a few hundred pound , but if K9 is allowed to do transfer and I can find someone with first hand experience with K9 then it could be worth going with them.
Guys please keep digging
Thanks in advance

It’s personal choice at the end of the day.
No doubt the most cost effective option is to do it yourself. However all the paperwork must be absolutely correct, rabies blood tests, worming, government vet clearance, flights, crate size etc all need to be spot on. If you are confident in your own administration and understand the regulations both in the TRNC and the destination country then diy is possible.
We recently used KAR to help and guide us to eventually fly our dog to the U.K. Shipping any animal to a different country is not a cheap option as there are costs all the way.
Get a full breakdown of costs and make your choice.
KAR were efficient, supportive and it worked for us.

The problem about doing it yourself is a minefield, but can be done of course. The biggest dangers are changes in regulations which you wouldn't know about until it was too late. i.e. The airlines suddenly decided they will not take the animal
\The airline changes dates and times
The Animal Immigration authorities at Heathrow suddenly alter their rules and regs and you wouldn't know in time,
(It only needs a full stop instead of a comma and the paper work can be wrong.
Its not cheap I know but at least KAR are in constant communication with authorities at this end. the airlines, the couriers, and authorities at the other. Last but by no means least, you have to be extremely careful about the Vet you use, some just make a stab at it.

Deus vult - where do " they advertise that them self *KAR*! are the only reconiseed people who can do the transfer from here Trnc to the uk" ? It is not on the advert that I see in the newspaper.
Maybe you should speak to K9 in person about your travel plans for your dog - you need to feel comfortable with who you are trusting your dog to. KAR have done us and our pets proud with the way they handled everything - first their import into North Cyprus and then when we decided to return them to the UK. They even advised us on the different ways of both coming and going - even to if we wanted to do it ourselves they helped with routes and different options.
Just be comfortable with, and trust, whichever person you decide on - it is a worrying process (as we well know) .

I cannot recommend KAR Pet Travel highly enough. I used them when I took my 2 dogs back to the UK last year and used them again when I brought them back to TRNC. I would like to know who says that KAR are way over-priced, what rubbish - like any service, you get what you pay for. They are efficient, do exactly what they say they will do and keep you informed whilst the dogs are being transported. I would not use anyone else. So K9 may be cheaper - yes, they will be cheaper for a reason.
