NTV

I have recently had Multi Maxs' NTV installed and I want to say that I am delighted with it.
Apart from the excellent selection of UK and other channels, the picture quality is 1st class. There are a few very short picture freezes but nothing that has spoiled my viewing.
The system also allows access to the internet by attaching a keyboard and mouse.
All in all, I thoroughly recommend it.

NTV is a box, it does NOT require a satellite dish, just a decent Internet connection (one provided by Multimax is preferred)
Currently we have approx 50 channels, including BBC, ITV, Sky, Documentaries, Sky Movies, Sky Sports etc.
Thank you Vaughan for your compliments, we are continuously working on to further improve this system and eliminate all glitches there are, you should expect even less freezes, more channels and even higher channel quality in near future.
All made possible by our customers' support.

It all sounds very efficient Kemal. Lots of people seem happy with your service, especially after sales service.
Wish you had been available when I lived there! In fact, the channels that you provide would be welcomed by expats in Germany! How about moving over here?

Hi Kemal,
Can you advise me whether I can attach a wireless mouse and keyboard via the usb socket on the front of the box?
Perhaps you can recommend one?
Keep up the good work!

Being a bit of an armchair shopper - and maybe I should look at the web page, so am being lazy - here come a couple of questions.
1. we had a box a while back and everything got scrambled so it turned out a waste of money. Do you mean your system is protected from this?
2. Can you give an idea of price, because 'im over there in the armchair, might well be interested, but as we pay for digiturk and having had a failure of two boxes (total waste of monehy!) I need to be able to convince him that this is a good investment. (the internet would be only for me, and I don't have multimax anyway - have broadband and a dongle)
sounds as if it oculd be good, because we don't have space for a large dish, so......... tell me more to get 'im excited about it.
thanks.

You are welcome to come and see my NTV system.

Hi Kemal,
Does stormy/rainy weather affect the signal on NTV? Last night some channels were slightly more prone to freezing during the bad weather.

Anything to do with satellite seems to be affected by weather my internet is very slow today and google is off.

Vaughan,
for the past several days, we had for the first time got affected by our earth station losing lock on transponders momentarily, mostly due to weather as Deniz stated. As we have set up our system in the beginning of summer, this is the first time we are being affected by these kind of issues. Our engineers are working on the problem and it should all be back to normal within a few more days of testing.
Deniz,
Even though our satellite systems might get affected by weather, Internet connection does not. It works very good and google is very much alive, you might be having other issues with your connection, are you using Multimax, have you called our support line?

Hi Kemal,
Thanks for the info.
Very good of you to keep your subscribers in the loop. Nothing worse than not knowing what's wrong and what's being done about it.

Moonraker (msg 14),
What is your statement based on?

I love it!
Somebody registers and their one and only post is to write a vague message trying(hoping?) to damage our reputation...
No idea who this person is, no explanation of the reasoning behind this 'recommendation', nothing. Just throwing mud on the wall hoping that it will stick.
The only consolation is that most, if not all, people are smarter than that.

I think there have been enough positive posts to ensure that people are confident in the service to pay in advance. I did and am happy with the service.

Hi Kemal,
Can you please advise if a wireless mouse/keyboard will work through the USB port on your NTV box to access the internet?

Yea that was my first post but everybody has to start somewhere.
Multimax has ignored 3 e.mails dealing with our problem.
The matter will very shortly become 'sub judice' and hence we are unable to post details of our claim on a public forum.

did you try and PM the person concerned from his profile?, it always better for all try and deal directly then do it in public
