I agree very good food there ,
BUT
have you tried Lords hotel ? Full turkey dinner , soup , smoke salmon, apple crumble (10/10) mince pie & coffee , mulled wine by the pool . £40 for the day or even better option the 2 night option all food & drink whilst eating ( Gordon’s gin etc) £110 a head !!!! Now that can’t be beaten I’m sure ?!!!!!

Rafters served an excellent Christmas lunch today with an amazing atmosphere.
Agree Al Shaheen is excellent, have eaten there at Christmas many times, but Rafters today also scored 10 out of 10 from us. Fantastic food, friendly efficient staff and Katie B. adding to the vibe.

I went to Lords it was excellent. Entertainment in the lobby on arrival very attentive staff in the sky bar and varied entertainment there too. A happy atmosphere although it was full the service never failed. After dinner mulled wine and hot roasted chestnuts by the pool bar. Not overly Christmas so it appealed to all different nationalities. So much food I was full for many hours after! Looking forward to next yeat they always try to come up with new ideas.

I have to agree with Deniz1. The Lords Palace Sky Bar was the place to be. £40 per head, included any drinks that you desired, inc luding cocktails. Valet Parking an excellent lunch, excellent entertainment (by far the best available). There were crackers on the table. The service was almost on a one for one basis. There was no delay in serving, or clearing away plates or accumulated rubbish from the tables. The added addition of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts was so good. Service was 100% along with the food and atmosphere. If I could book for next year now I would. This was the most spectacular Christmas I have ever had in my whole life.

One other thing no one has mentioned ,

THE VIEW !!!!!!

Down both coast lines , overlooking new Harbour , entrance & Castle of the old Harbour plus the mountain back drop , that view is one of our favorites.

Love Lords Palace Sky Bar. We use it a lot for coffee, lunch and their wonderful afternoon teas.
Also lovely for pre dinner drinks as the views and the service are amazing.
This year we had drinks on Christmas Eve there, a lovely start to Christmas.

Acapulco sea side restaurant by the sea did it for us.
7 course meal cooked and presented to perfection.
Waiters could not have been more attentive.
And the music was excellent.
To top it all.. a lovely crowd of people.
Simply the best.

We have to agree with the comments made here regarding Lords Palace Sky bar.great views and a delicious dinner,
Service was fantastic and friendly.. Did anyone go to the Cratos. I noticed that they advertised but left it a little bit late.
Would be pleased to hear any comments on this. We are really spoilt for choice now and have some great venues without even going west.
