Hi I have always used internet explorer to open the BBC news home page I know I'm mad but I like it. Yesterday when I clicked on the BBc news home page (from ie search engine) It goes straight to facebook login/sign up page and I have not got a clue why or who to get around it. Any of you techies out there got an answer?
Thanks
Mick

I am far, far from being a technie, but I tried out of interest and got it two ways:
1. Went to BBC Home Page (which I have on my favourites) and clicked on News
2. Searched Google for BBC News Home Page.
With Internet Explorer
Hope that helps.

If you follow Rose's instructions, and do finally get there, hold down the 'Ctrl' key (bottom left on your keyboard) and then press the letter 'D' - this will make a 'Bookmark' that you can choose to save at the top of the screen as a little icon.
Thereafter, all you will need to do is click on the icon, and Voila!

mickhm, if you open up the BBC news site on your browser, then click on Toos at the top of the page, then click on Internet Options in the dropdown, when the box opens click n Current buton then OK. Next time you open your browser it will open up the BBC News page automatically.
