Saw this happen on the Lapta strip, how stupid!!!! Then saw drivers turn around, obviously, no insurance or tax or MOT or maybe even no licence at all. Next time you are in an accident involving a driver like this, think did I warn them??? And don't forget all the others that suffer as a result of your actions. DON'T WARN OTHER DRIVERS....

Drivers over here on the East coast side must be more law abiding as I have never seen anyone stop or turn around when we get the flashing light warnings.

I, for one, am grateful, as it reminds me to check my speed ahead of the flat cap yellow jackets who jump out from behind trees/bushes with their radar guns.

tt.

It would be better if they pulled in the drivers who have only half their lights working

It still surprises me to see very late model cars , some new which have lighting issues.

We were once warned by a police car driving towards us that there was a police stop further ahead. Could only happen here, but we were grateful, although being completely legal we had nothing to worry about.

I am happy to receive any warning of any unusual occurrence ahead and am quite happy to reciprocate in kind having driven past whatever the occurrence may have been. Drivers here will flash their lights at oncoming traffic for a plethora of reasons, not only to warn of police check points ahead, I feel it is up to the individual driver to make their own decision on reciprocation. Provided that you remain legal on the road, tax, insurance, license and of course drink driving, what do you have to fear for doing so?

If you see me flashing my lights, feel free to ignore! Having been done for speeding wrongly twice I will continue to warn.

I just wish the Police would do something about flashing lights blinding oncoming drivers at night, not to mention high vehicles failing to dip their headlights against oncoming traffic, particularly when going up and down hillls and their lights shine straight into the eyes of the driver of a standard car.

There was a police vehicle stop by the Merit in Alsancak and I saw a Dolmus driver flagging other drivers not to go past Illeli because of the police checks. There was about five buses all pulled in to the side of the road.Doesnt give you confidence if you ever have to use them.
