Some idiot went out on his bike to post a letter in Girne and to check the post. Got the letter there ok.

Then on way back , it fell down. Took shelter under shop canopy for a little while but damage was done.

Had to go in Chemist at Catalkoy on way home and lemar.

Lady in chemist felt sorry for me and said I could wait till it eased...........but If you are soaked....................you are soaked........

Never mind

Drove out to Lefkie going to green river yesterday and as usual stopped at the Marlin restaurant for a coffee digger working and a policeman directing traffic .I thought it was road works the car park was a muddy mess .The owner said Sunday they had had a 3ft raging torrent blocking the road. The digger was clearing the derbies from the road and river bed
It started to look black over Vunie so we turned round 100 miles round journey for tow coffees and no lunch at Vuni King at green river

Farmers forcast.
If you can see the hills, it is going to rain.
If you cannot see the hills it is raining.

Always the sea weed test!!!

One thing with Cyprus you know when it stops raining it will soon be warm again, so why worry!!!!!

Well I pumped 2 inches from my pool this morning ................................just in case it rains like yesterday. Trying to stop my garden ending up in my pool.............or having to go down the pump room in the middle of the night WHILE it`s throwing it down.

I normally wear a rather fetching bin bag to stop me getting too soaked plus a supermarket bag for my head. ( fortunately no photographic evidence for that yet!! )
